Terms of Sale

We stock most of the components used in our systems. The brand of parts we stock may vary with availability. Please call us if you have questions on the specifications of these items. Our average delivery time on custom-built systems (1 to 4 units) is 3 to 5 working days. For orders of more than 4 units and for computers containing special order peripherals, please call for estimated delivery times.

Net terms are available only after 6 consecutive months of business history with us and on a successful credit approval. We accept cash checks drawn towards a local bank, credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). A $25 service fee is charged on all returned checks. Our prices do not include shipping or Hawaii general excise tax. Special order items require a 50% non-refundable deposit to place the order. These items, if non-defective, can not be returned for a refund or credit.

Returns and Warranty

Computer System Warranty Policy:
PDC offers a three-year full parts-and-labor warranty on all computer systems built by PDC. This warranty excludes any computers (desktop, server or notebook) resold from third party manufacturers such as (but not limited to) HP, Dell, Lenovo or Sony. A three-year extended warranty as well as on-site servicing/repair options are also available on the island of Oahu. Please call or visit our store for pricing and information.

PDC warrants that the hardware it assembles will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is exclusive of, and not limited in the exclusion of, the following issues: 3rd-party software conflicts, viruses, accidents, acts of God, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, installation/servicing not authorized by PDC, and problems caused by installation/use of parts not supplied by PDC.

The customer assumes all risk of loss of data from any and all causes relating to the repair of PDC computers. If warranty work is required, it is the end-user's responsibility to backup all data on the computer. Please remove any removable storage media; PDC will not be responsible for loss of data on these devices. Any peripherals not installed by PDC will be removed before repair.

PDC may use new or reconditioned parts when performing warranty repairs. All replaced parts become the property of PDC, and the warranty is not further extended by the replacement of said parts.

Component Warranty and Return Policy:
Defective products, except for CPU and memory, may be returned or exchanged for in-store credit within 30 days of purchase date, provided they are accompanied by all manuals, driver diskettes and/or other software, cables, original packaging and PDC invoice; CPU and memory must be exchanged within 7 days of purchase date. PDC technicians must verify product defects before refund or exchange is approved. Defective components may be repaired at PDC's discretion up to one year after invoice date. Monitors carry a 3-year manufacturer's factory warranty; it is the end-user's responsibility to contact the manufacturer for repair or exchange.

After the in-store warranty has expired, any remaining warranty for replacement or repair is provided to the end user directly by the manufacturer. ALL expressed or implied warranties are voided if any labels or markings are tampered with and/or removed, or if the product incurs any physical damage.

A 15% restocking fee is charged for all non-defective returns within the 30-day exchange period (7 day exchange period for CPU and memory). Purchases paid by cash will be refunded by PDC company check. Purchases paid for with a check will be refunded after the bank has cleared the check. Credit card charges will be credited to the purchaser's card. Refunds for non-defective products may be issued in the form of a merchandise credit, good for one year from the exchange date, in lieu of the check refund. Non-defective items will not be accepted for return after 30 days from purchase.

Shipment Liability

Shipments are sent by the carrier, class and method requested by customers. We may substitute UPS or FEDEX for USPS service depending on destination at no additional cost to the customer. We cannot guarantee or be held responsible for in transit delivery times or service guidelines established by USPS, UPS, or FedEx or any other common carrier. Furthermore, we are not liable for shipment delays, lost shipments, stolen mail, clerical or typographical errors by customers during the order entry process, inclement weather, customs impounds or any other in transit delivery problem once a shipment has left our distribution facilities and is in the possession of a designated common carrier.
